Speeding through the fast lane of life...

As my swift responded to my downshift, the acceleration almost heart rendering, the curves swished past until suddenly I saw the orange fluorocense on the road side. I pressed my brakes hard and slowed down to the normal speed limits, until I passed the Police Patrol... I heaved a sigh, the exhilaration of the fast driving was drowned by the sudden fear of being of fined for speeding...

But then again why do cars have permission to be allowed to have maximum speed over and above speed limits within a country?

Thats a question that I keep pondering everytime I cross the 80kmph mark on my swift. One thing I have done right is I have always chosen a vehicle that gives me a good acceleration, whether it is my Yamaha RX-100 or the my ex- Mahindra Scorpio or now my Maruti Swift; each of them had a caliber to accelerate and give me the exhilaration.

Only problem is the recent bad spate of roads spoiling the entire driving pleasure and add to it, the increased road patrolling of Police trying to catch the Sand & Spirit Mafia in action.

Thinking back to life, I believe I have always taken the fast track, at 28 I think I am closer to doing the jobs done by 30-35 year old people, basically its been my right choice or rather lucky choices I have made all along... It does feel good to be on the fast track but sometimes it can kill too as my health situation warned me...

But the good thing is, life has generally been fortunate for me.. whether it is my choice of career or my choice of life. But sometimes when you hit the road blocks that stall you, you keep questioning why do they ever come up? What makes them so much of an obstacle when you know your supposed to speed through..

Maybe its like what my friend said, " Allah/God gives you only that much as much as you can carry". Its soothing to hear and maybe like Amar says, each experience, each exposure, each road block is a stepping stone to take on bigger responsibilities!

As I speed through my life, focussing my energies and trying not to lose concentration, I am living the changes happening and I have left many a friend along the way due to time constraints.. What I miss may be personal but what I gain in the process is the satisfaction of having made a difference whether it was by paying the salary for the worker who created my Maruti Swift or the jobs generated in our company due to our combined efforts to make it bigger and better...

Life in the speed track is meant only for the bolder ones....
