Can you ask a river...

As I sat on the banks of the river, I asked it," Why do you flow?".

I got no answer... I got angry and screamed. Still I only heard the gushing sound...

Taj Mumbai

As the silence engulfed,I whispered her name,
I heard the murmur afar...,
Amongst the chaos blinked flashes of light,
Thundering sounds masked the murmur,

I knew she was there but the darkness blinded me,
The fear of losing her got better of me,
I called louder her name,
So loud that I sensed as if the thunder and lights moved closer..
Was I dreaming ?

Another Mans Wife....

June 22nd 2002
She is getting married. In a couple of weeks, she will be another's wife.
What a strange thought. For six years, I thought she was mine. I could not
imagine another being closer to her than I was.

We were 'an item,' a couple. Friends addressed greetings to us jointly. When

The Greatest Pain in Life...

The greatest pain in life
is not to die, but to be ignored.

To lose the person you love so
much to another who doesn't care at all.

To have someone you care so about so much throw a party...
and not tell you about it.

When your favorite person on earth
neglects to invite you to his graduation.

To have people think that you don't care.

The greatest pain in life,
is not to die,

Lonely Sojourn

As I tread through life,
I smile at the laughter around me,

I feel the glances of everyone,
So many questions they want to ask thee,
Yet I see compassion in those eyes,
I see bewilderment in many more,
And all I have is a silence to give back..

Sometimes we need to change,
We need to know we are lonelier still,
What others want us to understand,
Can never be what we want to believe..

Tribute to the Sky

The sun has set today,
eight years hence the end has cometh,

So full of hope and so bright were its rays,
It spoketh only of a future so bright,
The sun shone across the sky,
like it always belonged,
Bringing life and happiness untold to the sky so vast!
Clouds came and smoke bellowed,
spoketh it of the trials & tribulations they faced,
Pesevere they did until the day,

Beautiful Article... "The heartbeat of a wounded city"

Jana gana mana adhinayaka... the familiar words begin in his baritone, and are picked up and amplified by a thousand throats. You've heard this sung in a few hundred assemblies and public meetings and in darkened cinema halls - but this day, this anthem from this crowd in front of the Gateway of India, sounds like nothing you have heard before.

A man after my own heart- Mumbai 26/11 continued ..

Everything has settled down, the calm has returned. People are trying their level best to show their vote of confidence in the Secular Democratic country of India and at these times when the Indian Unity is at its peak and Politicians hidden, we feel proud about the ones who take up the cause...

The Futility of it ALL --Mumbai 26/11

I have no idea what advantage these people get destroying monuments or causing civil unrest?

What do they gain killing people and disturbing the peace? Will the destruction of old heritage hotels and railway terminals give them any benefit?

To prove a point? Whose point? What point? Who benefits?

My Tryst with Plumbing

I finally got myself a solar water heater. After more than a year plus of deciding it, building up the platform for it and getting the piping work specifically done for it.. its finally realized.

I chose the Racold 200 liter Glass Tube Solar Heater. It is my first exposure to going green using Solar. It does seem to work well much better than I actually expected.
