The day had finally reached. After almost 3 years of relentless searching, Poo, aka , Don, of the Marbleboys finally tied the knot.

He was one of the first in our group who got tired of the lonely bachelor life after college and one of the first to really start searching for his life partner. A few unscheduled foreign trips, “wrong time!” as per his horoscope and some very choosy nature made him spend almost three years searching for that perfect girl.

In a way I am glad he took his time, I do think he has found his perfect match. Whether the perfect match will in time change or not, that is for God, Destiny and they themselves to decide!!

As I would like to say, its now 3 down, 7 more to go. It took 4 years for 2 of the Marbleboys to marry. But just a spacing of 6 months for 2 more to happen. Yes, the second Nishanth, NSD aka jetli is also going to tie the knot this coming March 2007!

Has life changed? Well I dont know, the evening of the Bachelor's Party at Poo's wedding was in a way a reminiscence of our college days. As usual we did to Poo a few things that reminded him of how our college days were. Ajeesh became his normal self and so did chokli (Arun Varghese) and for a moment in that hotel room in Sopanam Heritage at Guruvayor, my mind went back to our college days...

Poo's antics, the freedom with which we did the most craziest things, the oil tests, the apache drinkings, exam phobias, Poo's batman fear, and those hours we spent all of us lazing on a double cot bed, everyone lying in circles and on each other's laps' chests' etc just talking, talking, talking. The beautiful girls in colleges, our dreams, fantasies, activities to do and sometimes pure melancholy, where we just somberely thought about life's cruelties..

Did it feel good? I dont know when I look back now I really miss those moments. They were fun, they made us what we are today yet at the same time our lives have changed with the times..

We have not forgotten each other and I would always wish that someday when we retire, we create our marble home once again and we spend our last few days together catching up on how life has taken us on our routes, with our trials, tribulations, our difficulties and many times we missed each other...

With each wedding, the number of people attending has reduced drastically. From 8 of us in Ajeesh's wedding to 6 in Thampi's to 4 in Poos'...

Its the situations that cause it but more than it, in a way it shows the first signs of how our lives are moving to different circles, but I know our Marbleboys , they will stand together when the times of difficulties come.. and thats all that I care to think off..

Guys we had a one off a kind of life!
